Katia Kuethe is a global strategic creative who positions brands by translating strategy
and market trends into long-lasting creative work. She studied Editorial Design under
Prof Hans-Georg Pospischil, interned at Milton Glaser’s studio, and later trained with
fashion industry luminaries including Doug Lloyd, Raul Martinez, Michael Ian Kaye,
Amy Astley, and Anna Wintour. She has designed fragrances and beauty collections for
Gucci, YSL, and Estee Lauder, created the blueprint for Tom Ford Beauty, and helped
launch Uniqlo in New York: “From Tokyo to New York.” She led Kate Spade’s global
expansion, building a comprehensive social digital first 360 brand architecture, and
held two Creative Director positions at Conde Nast, collaborating only with best in
class. She later repositioned Abercrombie & Fitch, led Neiman Marcus & Bergdorf
Goodman into social & digital first mindset, worked on the perception changing launch
of Walmart’s Style vertical, and led Dove’s global cross-category brand refresh creating
“Desire At Scale.” Her versatile creative vision spans across categories, delivering
brand positioning, advertising, editorial and product design. She combines European
design sensibility with American business acumen, gifted in identifying cultural shifts
well in advance. She has led global in house creative teams as well as agency side –
both luxury & large scale. Her meticulous, systematic approach aims to create lasting
impact while prioritizing team mentorship. Kuethe has received recognition from One
Club, ADC & Graphis. She has been featured in The New York Times and other
publications, and has spoken at events including CFDA, FIT, AIGA, and SABK Stuttgart.
